A concert with friends. This was the last performance by the band Holy Holy before they take a hiatus. And it was my last concert in Australia too. Coincidentally, one half of Holy Holy (Timothy) is moving to Sweden too. Maybe we can be mates haha

I’ve finally wrapped up the blog series / recap on Tassie. Our final few days were spent travelling through Strahan to Cradle Mountain, and then back to Devonport. It was a weird couple of days which I explain in the blog -> Cradle Mountain - Our final days in Tassie

A rare group photo with friends after a bloody good banquet at Byblós. We also went to a random sports bar and proved that we all suck at pool. Tanja and I will miss Steve and Caitie’s wedding this year so this was a celebration and a farewell (for now).

Sunset at Cabarita Beach headland. I’ll never get tired of watching these.

After lots of handwringing I’ve decided to leave my postgrad course at CSU. I have been very unhappy with the quality of teaching but could not find a new path forward. Thankfully Tanja stepped in today to guide me through making a decision. Thank you my love ❤️

I’ve posted the next instalment of the Tassie trip to my long-form blog. Slowly catching the blog up on our travels. I’m really enjoying the contemplative process of re-living the events of just a couple weeks ago > Lake St Claire

The happy face of a man who finally received his residency permit card for Sweden. I knew it was approved, but it’s really real now that I’m moving to Sweden in less than two months. I have lots to do before I leave, but this is one thing fully ticked off my list of worries.

Stocked up at Burleigh Markets. My family are so lucky to have this just down the road.

I went to a presentation hosted by the Food Connect Foundation last night expecting some actionable insights on redesigning local food system. Instead it was a rambling pseudo-economics/history lesson about global capital and crown land. Much of the audience seemed confused, myself included.

My sister took Tanja and I on an epic adventure.
